Love the new look! Your blog has always been one of my very favorites. I think maybe I found you shortly after you began, though I don't remember how. Could it have been through Linda Woods and Visual Chronicles?? Seems like maybe they linked to you a loooong time ago. Anyway, I'm just glad to still be visiting :)

Hi Mary Ann. I just wanted to drop a line and say hello! I totally enjoy reading your blog (even at 3am when the baby won't sleep). I leave each time inspired, amused, and a bit jealous.... I too work for the great dysfunctional machine, and wish I could run away, hide, and make cool art with you! Enjoy your break, and I'll keep looking for the smoke signals. :-)

Oh Miss Moss, you just know what you are doing don't you! Wish I could say the same. The place is looking smashing .. xodonna

Love the new look as well! Things seem easier to find now... good job Mary Ann! It is so nice to be able to have the time to do things like this isn't?

Happy New Domain Day Mary Ann, Everything looks pretty spiffy and fine, links; totally awesome. I wish I could figure out how much time I spend on DFLA but I know it's alot and that every second has been a pleasure and then some. My favorite place to soak in the rays, the good vibes and inspiration. xxooxx

Great new look for the blog! Isn't it wonderful to have the time to do stuff like this? Like weekends all the time. I'm so impressed that you took the leap and made this leave of absence a reality. Such a brave (and healthy) thing to do. I know you'll never regret it. Congrats on the blog longevity - we, your deliriously happy fans, are eternally grateful.
Erin

Checking in with you is part of my daily routine.
Wouldn't it be funny to fly back in time 5 years and say this to my 52 year old self? See my reaction when I told myself that I would Care (Actually Care!) how my teacher friend (yeah, that one, the one I Never Met) was getting along without her monkeys?
In other news I headed to India next week. This time alone, but part of a group of 10 going on a tour. I've always wanted to go to India, but it was too scary to try to do it by myself. Will let you know how the tour "thing" goes. Feeling a little iffey about it but my adorable daughter said to me "you are a free white woman with money in your pocket, people change their minds ALL the time and change their plane tickets ALL the time" Aaaah, wisdom of the utes.

One thing that makes me proud in the blog universe is I consider myself a good and solid (virtual) friend of the best blogger in the business.
I really do feel that way, ya know. (Just so ya know.)
:-)

Excellent work, altogether!

Alway always puts a smile on me face. Love it

lookin good Billy Ray!

Lovin' the changes!

House looks 'spiffy' as we say here in the South!!!! Can't believe it has been almost seven years since I lucked up on your blog....congrats.
Missy from the bayou :)

Looks shiny and new. Not a dust bunny to be seen. It even smells clean!

And now you've got me thinking. I'm 44....perhaps it's time to start that blog I've been mulling over....

I love the new look! I'm taking you TTV class, and I've finished constructing the book, but I'm afraid to use it because I'll spoil it! Crazy me. Thanks for sending me smoke signals. I'd be lost without them. Really. :-)

There is so much noise and clutter it seems - I don't visit many blogs anymore for this reason - trying to do my own decluttering. But I always visit yours ... I might do one of your workshops this year - I'm a complete novice tho - could I manage the stencilling do you think?? So inspiring :-) Philippa

After my happy day in bed yesterday-- a la a MsMoss Sunday --I am back adventuring alone in Boston. I'm glad you got the domain. Now there won't be counterfeit yous out there or up here or whatever. A question. Do you have a keyboard for your iPad?

Looking good! And we enjoy every single solitary precious little post on your blog! This is my favorite place to be. All of the sketches you girls are doing are fab! Very neat that you have your sister and Pam to hook up with and do awesome creative projects like that with. I run across folks more often than not who honestly cannot figure out why I find art journaling enjoyable, and I am often baffled by that response. But that's okay because now I just come here for my fix; to this truly lovely place that is so easy to stop by for validation that it is right as rain to love all this stuff! So happy you are here.

Mary Ann Moss you are just fab

Love it and Love you - there are no substitutes for the real thing!! The best blog in town xx Michelle

Hi from Portugal!!
Just received your latest post by email. The link to your blog doesn't work.

Yes. I know about the www :)
I know you've visited Lisbon :) In Porto you must eat a francesinha, it's great :)
I live in about 50Km south of Lisboa.

Love your art work :)

Hello!
TheBlog looks great and easy to peek at stuff. I have been reading your blog for a bit now, I enjoy your expressive wit. I went to your sisters blog last night for the first time and doubled my pleasure. Love seeing the journals and will be taking a class real soon.
Happy for you that you are enjoying your respite with traveling, painting, journaling, cooking and sharing your blog with us.
Cheers from San Diego!!

And we appreciate YOU!

Haven't forgotten to make my travel journal! I travel in four weeks, so I'm aiming for two weeks from now to have everything bound. I've selected most of the innards.

That's not the point. The point is, I think you, I, and lots and lots of others started blogging around the same time. Well, art blogging. I started blogging at 44, too, but I wasn't art blogging. I'm older than you, you see. Not wiser.

That's not the point. The freaking point is: blogging as long as you have, and NO teaching? NO domain?!!

Oh, well...
