sketching people is loads of fun. this is our 3rd week sending pictures back and forth.
i'm glad we decided to do this because at the end of the year we'll have 52 portrait sketches staring back at us.
that's a lot of eyes and noses and mouths and hair and chins and wrinkles and dimples and mustaches. a real mother lode!

snuggled in for the night, it's a wee bit chilly here but we are warm and properly cozy. Have fun with those sketches, they are lookin' real fine indeed.

Terrific work! They have a sense of humor and characture, not just copying what is there. You've captured what you see.

What an amazing project you cooked up! 52 sketches for 2013. That's awesome, truly awesome. I love the way you handle the watercolor. I presume one is yours and the other your sister's? Is that right? Well, whoever is doing the sketching is doing a fine job and I am enjoying the results. A lot.
