saturday feels so luxurious. and long.
you never know where your next piece of inspiration will come from do you?
nope. you don't.
janice sent me an email telling me about something she saw on ebay and thought i might want. one of the many lovely perks of blogging is that nice people email you with fabulous links. jennifer offered to send me some of her recently acquired hand-marbled paper from venice. someone else offered me postcards. kathy sent me info on a fine paper store and a tip on a great restaurant. the list goes on and on. a thousand THANK YOUs. even if i don't accept, i appreciate the kindness in those offers. i really really do.
anyway back to janice and her tip...
A. i've been wanting a paint by number painting
B. paint by number of venice is even better
watch this movie trailer. that's an order!
supah dupah FUNNY.

OOohh love paint-by-numbers! And a Venice restaurant tip -- would you share it with me, Mary Ann? Last time I was in Venice I found it difficult to find good restaurants that weren't tourist traps and I'm hoping we do better this visit. And my first stop might be a marbled paper shop.

Did you buy those PBN's already painted or did you paint them? They are totally FAB!! And that movie looks good, I have loved Melissa McCarthy ever since "Gilmour Girls"!!

LOVE the art! Be careful you don't loose the passport - could go underground and pass for the real thing. Didn't know you could still get PBN. So much fun. xoDonna

Too funny Mary Ann. Gotta watch it again. I loved paint by numbers as a child. I always seemed to have one going, I know I finished a couple of horses and a landscape that my mom even hung in our living room. They came with fake wooden frames even. Your Venice turned out delightful. I love the subtle colors. Every so often I think I'd like to do one again, just for fun. An uncomplicated and simple artistic pleasure. So how was the sauce? I smiled when I saw that. We hit Trader Joes at least once a month. We were just there last weekend and I loaded up on our favorite stuff and tried a couple of new sauces just to keep life interesting.
