What a lovely idea! Still reading through your courses details - wishing I had more time to be self indulgent with it all... soon...

So calming! You are very lucky. Thanks for sharing with us!

So lovely! My family and I are headed to Los Angelos the beginning of June. My husband is working there and we are turning it into a family trip... well, him working and me toting the three kids around downtown LA... its a pretty big trip for us small town Canadian kids! We can't wait to see your city in person! If you have any recommendations for us we would love to hear them!

What a wonderful oasis you ahve created for yourself!!! Your waterfall is wonderful and your mosaic doorway is lucious!! Love the blue door!!!! Would love to join you out there, but I fear that we would not get any work done!!!(YAk, Yak, Yak!!!) Have a wonderful artful day!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing the images of this lovely patio with us! I like very much your mosaic door frame. Have a beautiful day!

WOW!! How beautiful and relaxing. A perfect place for "Out Journaling". Thanx for sharing. You have encouraged me to work on my Out Journaling area today. And since it is Mother's Day, maybe I can get some help:)

Love it! Fire. Water. Earth. Air. What a great place to find balance. You did a great job creating this oasis.

You are living your own poem.

can i come over? LOL. what a beautifl and peaceful place. i would spend every minute there that i could. lucky you with your new patio. enjoy!

It's true. Look no further. It's all there - right in your own backyard.

How divine! Happy Mother's Day to the mom of the cat posse! Enjoy your well earned sanctuary!

Fabulous! Love the bird chirping... vaguely like the cardinal I have in my own yard. Enjoy your weekend of bliss!

HB and I were listening together and we both had to laugh when the plane went over. We both said "that's L.A.!"

You have created a lovely little retreat in your back yard. Do you still have a place to spray paint?

Looks like your cat buddys are loving this too. And it's no wonder. Enjoy your Sunday.

You've got a little slice of heaven there - thanks for giving us a glimpse of your world :-)) Love it!

Serene! But what happened to the video where you walked out to the beautiful patio, listening to the cheery birds, a warm breeze fanning the leaves... with your large coffee mug and then stepped on a cat's tail causing you to drop the mug in surprise, knocking over your black, red and green paints on the new patio, which scared the other two cats who ran right through the splattered paint and into your bedroom? Did I dream that one?

janet,

my spray table has been relocated to the side of the house . dont want to clutter up the back with STUFF. know what i mean jelly bean?

Aaaaaaaahh.......nice, very nice.

Did you use your Flip camera? I'm thinking of getting one.

coffee, wine, kitties, sunshine, art.....you had me at coffee :)
Love Love Love the patio and your little slice of heaven that you've shared!
Beth

oh, I wish I were there with you. So beautiful and so peaceful!

v. pretty and nice all those colors and the Koch and your teeny tiny journal that almost is invisible.

You've created a lovely oasis in the city. Thank you for sharing. What a lovely idea - to capture the sounds of morning. Very creative.

Hi MA,
What a wonderful addition the tiles are to your doorway. Love the "Moss Cottage" and the bits of mirrors reflecting the sky and trees.
Thanks for sharing your morning with us.

wOw! This looks so serene. And the exquisite succulents! (I thought they were faux flowers at first glance). You may need a little bit more color perhaps?

I know a gardener who might be able to help with that, given the right invitation....
;-)P

Lovely! A beautiful way to begin your day. Thanks for sharing.

Oh one of my cats thinks there is a bird in our house now! Just beautiful Mary Ann.
