Thanks so much for your link to my art and for what you wrote about it. Means a lot! :) I love your visual journals. So much energy and vibrancy.

I love seeing the portraits of your students. Remind me of the kids I worked with when I was a teacher in Chicago.

Thanks again!

Hi. My name is Lara Berch. I have just launched a new website with step by step art tutorials. I was wondering if it's possible to exchange links with you.

LOVE!!!! that sencil you cut of yourself. That is AWESOME. Your brotha stinks for not telling you about that show. I was hoping to get to meet you one day. I am gonna give him some **** about it. Though I think he might like that!
You might have to do a tutorial on how to cut those stencils!!

Look at Girlfriend rockin' those "frames" from her new program! Makes the photos even Juicier and who could imagine that THAT was even possible?
Meet you for breakfast?

I love your weekend work! Your self portrait stencil rocks. I, too, will have to try this sharpie method.

...she knocks another one out of the ballpark...
...and the crowd roars ::::::::::::::::!

Oops, I meant to ask, did you use the Sharpie on the photo itself and then cut it for the stencil? Was it a home-printed or store-printed photo? Snoopy aren't I?

I made a self-portrait stencil yesterday too, and actually used it on a journal page and wonder of wonders actually blogged about it in the same day. I've been admiring your portraits and your blog post about Debra's tutorial finally got me working toward making one of my own. It was great fun. Of course, I couldn't find my Xacto knife and had to use a less-than-sharp utility knife.

well, love, we know who is inspiring all of us to make stencils dont we? I just couldn't resist after seeing all of your great work. My eyes always light up when I see a new post from you.

Fabulous stencil of you MA! Love it! *writes down* "must try sharpie method" Ummm my first attempt at a stencil ended up a bit mangled with many cursings and thrown over the shoulder...will try again! :)
